Big Idea: The idea is to learn about variables,making tables and graphs to show different variables are related.
Notes:In the investigation we conducted a jumping jack experiment,collected the data in a table.the graphs and tables showedthe relationship between the two variables.
1.What are the two variables?how did one variable affect the other?
A.The two variables were time and jumping jacks.the jumping jacks affected the time because at sometimes there were less and sometimes more.
2.Explain how you could make a graph to show the relationship between the two different from part a . How would u decide which variable should be on the x-axis and y-axis?
A.We will put the jumping jacks on the x axis and the time on the y axis .The one that is the independent variable will be on the x axis and the dependent on the y axis.
